Flexible seating provides six advantages in the classroom environment: choice, movement, community, comfort, collaboration, and sensory input. Last year I was skeptical but purchased some flexible seating options for my classroom out of my own pocket. The change in my students was drastic! My student's focus improved and so did their academic output. This year I want to expand my flexible seating options by adding ten wobble stools, thus more than doubling the options I already have. I teach at a small, rural school with a small budget and am unable to get the funding through the district. Thank you!
