At my school, my students rotate into my room. I am a fifth and sixth grade writing teacher, and my classes range from very small, to very big. I have around 60 students who come into my room every day, and their supplies right now, just sit on the floor underneath their chairs because I only have tables, not desks. My chairs do not have little baskets on the bottom, and I've noticed that students leave their things in my room all the time because they forget that they put their book on the ground, or their binder. I want to provide seat sacks for my students because I feel that it will make my classroom safer because kids won't be tripping on or standing on their slippery books throughout the day, and my room will look more organized. My students would really appreciate having their things in a designated spot, rather than haphazardly placed on the ground.
