All students learn by doing. In a class that has a variety of learners from english only to english as a second language a hands on learning approach is best. But to do this we must first have a variety of hands on materials to meet student needs. By having hands on materials everyone can learn abstract concepts in math and science. Hand on manipulatives also help in developing students fine motor skills. Many of these items will not only be used in whole group learning but also small group and centers. Giving students multiple opportunities to improve and master skills. Any help in making this possible is greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading.
