These items will be used to encourage my students' creative minds. I want my students to be able to create and become engineers. Many times, creativity can be hindered by the lack of available supplies. With more hands-on and STEAM based materials, students will be given the opportunity to create while expanding their problem solving skills. These items will also encourage teamwork and collaboration within my classroom! Magna-tiles and Legos have been a favorite of my students in the technology lab and I know they would love to have them in our 2nd grade class!
