With a conference table and chairs, the students in my classroom will be able to practice the skills needed during a workplace meeting or interview. This type of table also encourages face-to-face communication giving the students the best place to interact. During class, my students will be using this table and chairs to create service projects to increase their involvement in the community and develop leadership skills through planning projects with peers. My hope for each student is, through their work, they can develop business, industry, and education partnerships and skills that can lead to better outcomes in their education and employability. Each student can use the skills attained using this conference table to successfully transition into a career and/or pursue post-secondary education.

About my class
