Many of the students that I serve are nonverbal, have limited verbal communication, or have speech that is difficult to understand. The GoTalk32+ is a simple speech generating communication device that students can use to express themselves, interact socially, and participate in academics. With the GoTalk32+ I will be able to create custom communication opportunities for particular students and/or groups of students. I will be able to create and print boards that slide into the GoTalk32+. Students that I serve need access to vocabulary to help them to speak with friends during lunchtime, participate in math lessons, request supplies in art class, use the same vocabulary as other students in science and social studies classes, etc. Help me to help my students communicate more effectively at school!
