In Chemistry, we learn about elements and their interactions throughout the year. These items will allow us to model the various interactions between atoms such as the differences between elements, compounds and mixtures, pure substances vs. mixtures, balancing reactions, the various types of chemical reactions, and many others. By donating to our project, you will be providing hands-on models that will be used throughout the year for a variety of different topics. The students will be able to manipulate the models when they aren't able to manipulate the real objects. This will help them understand these complex concepts which are often difficult due to the fact they can't see the atoms.
