These books will enhance the literacy-rich classroom that grows lifelong readers. The books within my classroom are treated like treasure, and students are eager to hear the stories that taken them on new adventures. Many of my students don’t have books at home, so they are so grateful at opportunities to be read stories with wonderful illustrations, characters, and adventures to follow along with. All these books were chosen to support the different interests of students. They will be used in daily read-alouds where we will practice comprehension skills. I believe adding these books will help my future readers find a way to connect with stories and become students who enjoy reading and being read to for a lifetime.
