These STEM LEGO sets are going to be a great addition to our classroom. They will provide my students with hands-on activities that will help them increase their knowledge about various topics. For example, they will learn details about space. They will then provide me with proof that they retained facts taught. Then they will use LEGO STEM sets to apply what they learned in their own way using their creative abilities. These LEGO STEM sets will also be used as a classroom behavior tool. Each Friday, we have STEM morning. When students complete their morning work and they have met or exceeded classroom expectations, they are allowed to create! They have several different types of LEGO STEM tools to use. This is a great resource that I have used for several years with great success. They compete and work together to create new things. It’s amazing what you hear when you observe. They are actually using tools and verbiage that applies to what has been taught in class...AMAZING!
