These active seating options will make a difference in my students' learning. Doing activities as a class often means the children have to sit crisscross applesauce on the floor, which can be uncomfortable for everyone if it's for a long period of time or if it's a large group. I have a few students who have a difficult time sitting crisscross applesauce due to trunk development and physical disabilities. The cube chairs will provide support for these children and will make them engage their core to stay sitting upright. The wobble stools will allow my students a way to wiggle while working at their tables. It will also help improve their trunk development and will allow them to focus more on their work. These active seating options are also easier to move and take up less space than traditional classroom chairs.
