This year I will be returning to teaching after taking a year off. I will be teaching math, for the first time, at a smaller rural middle school. The students are eager to learn and deserve a room which matches their enthusiasm. I want to design my new classroom to promote a positive and welcoming learning environment. When students feel content in the classroom their minds are open and they are motivated to learn. They should look forward to entering your doorway. Teachers create a positive environment in many ways one of which includes creating an area which is open, bright, and promotes a positive energy. I am hoping to start the year off right by creating a space filled with joy. Your donations will assist me in developing a creative and energetic classroom. All students deserve a great space to learn!
