Our classroom loves having the option to choose where to work. Currently, students are just able to sit on the floor when they choose a different place to work. Having flexible and comfortable seating options will help my students to focus and be comfortable at school. When the environment is calm, and inviting, students are more able to focus and stay engaged. Flexible seating options gives students real world skills. They are able to discover what types of environments allow them to do their best work. Knowing the environment that helps them is a skill that students need to have for their entire lives.
