Many students cannot learn effectively sitting at a desk and chair. It is extremely important for teachers to differentiate their instruction. That also includes allowing students to choose their optimal learning environment. My students thrive when they can choose where they want to sit during a lesson. This helps my students feel like they are in control of their learning. It helps them keep focused and accountable. Flexible seating will help my extremely active students have an alternative to regular desk and chairs that can help them focus on lessons all while getting out their wiggles! I would love for my students to be able to have the privilege of flexible seating in our classroom. Thank you for your support!
