As a math teacher through the years, one thing I've struggled with is retention! The Get More Math (GMM) is specifically designed to improve long-term skill retention in math. Mistakes are expected, respected and corrected in our class. GMM is individualized and adapted to the needs of each student through cumulative practice. The program meets each student where they are in math! As a teacher, I can input new math skills as I teach them. GMM will target current skills while also providing a continuous, spiraled review of our math standards. Proficiency over time is tracked, and students are required to correct mistakes. One of the most valuable things I can teach my students is how to have a growth mindset. Confusion is part of learning and isn't anything to fear. Every one is a math person! More practice is key, and GMM would be such a valuable addition to my math program.
