My students will learn how stocks work and how it could be used as an investment tool. They will learn how outside influences can effect the stock market and individual stocks. One of the goals is to focus on careers and investing after high school by exposing my students to stock market analysis, different career possibilities and how to invest in the market for money management and retirement. The stock market game gets students motivated and improves academic performance, financial knowledge, and saving and investing habits. It gets students ready to analyze graphs to make predictions from the graphs to make better choices in their investments.
