My students will use the iPad for working on reading skills. We only have 5 iPads for 20 plus students to use. This makes it very difficult for students to work on independent reading skills on their level. We use Read Naturally, which allows them to work at their own pace and on their own level. This is also great for our RSA students who need extra remediation or need to listen to a story. We also use Accelerated Reader, which allows students to read and test on the book they have chosen. This extra iPad would be so useful in helping students get the extra time to practice their reading skills. Reading is so important at this age and my students need all the help and practice they can get.
