My students deserve more. They deserve more than a system that has continued to fail them. They deserve more than the low standards that have been put in place to undermine their knowledge. They deserve more than a simple worksheet that gives adds little to no value to their education. My students deserve the world. My students deserve the same education as the student 10 miles away in a thriving school system. With that, these materials will go towards bettering the efficiency within the classroom in order for my students to focus on the material and the overarching goal: success. The majority of the materials needed in my classroom will go towards organization and maintaining an efficient system of responsibility. In order to do so, I will be focusing on a strict binder system that is maintained by an organized note taking outline. Thus, It is imperative that I have access to a high quality printer and all binder accessories. This will ensure my students understand the importance of being organized, responsible, and independent if they do choose to continue their academic careers or even begin thinking about joining the workforce.
