My classroom always has the lights off! I find when the lights are down the students are calmer. When the lights are on they seem to raise up a level. Not only do I use the lights as a classroom management tool I also need them off while projecting. Without the lights off it is hard for the students to see the images on the board. With daylight savings time in full swing, my room is much darker than normal. These lights will help brighten up my room to help the students stay calm and be able to stay focused.
