Remember Kindergarten? Remember how new and fun it was, but also exhausting and sometimes difficult to sit through? My goal to get funded for flexible seating will help me give students who need a little extra wiggle-room the chance to be their best selves without feelings like they are confined to the typical seat with 4 legs. This bundle of 6 flexible seats will give many students the opportunity to stay fully engaged during this very important school year. With how fast our world is moving, our children are also conditioned to keep up with that pace! Which means they are always moving and grooving, and at times its just plain hard to sit still during the school day! I know I find myself twirling a pencil in my hand, wiggling back and forth in my chair, and feelings restless during the school day- and I've gone to school for 16 years! I want my kindergartens to feel free of that anxiety if it calls to them! With flexible seating options they will have a choice in what makes them feel the most comfortable during their very first year of school.
