Blessing my class with the purchase of weighted blankets will make a difference to my students' learning and help them to feel secure and calm while away from their parents and comfort zones. It takes patience and time for my students to adapt with change, therefore the weighted blankets can help with the process. I will implement the use of weighted blankets throughout the day as needed. Weighted blankets can be used during whole group, partner activities, independent activities, and breaks in between throughout the school day. I would love to request more than three weighted blankets due to the number of students I may have on my roster this school year, however, the cost for each weighted blanket is listed for over one hundred dollars. Thank you in advance!
