What is one item that students use almost all day, every day while in school? A chair! Here's another question, what is something that most kids do not enjoy doing? Sitting still! Modern strategies and research support that our students are yearning to be more active in their learning. The same research will also tell us that students can accomplish this and become more engaged and focused during lessons through the use of flexible seating. Students learn more effectively and retain more of what they learn when there is movement involved. Flexible seating allows students to move, stretch wiggle and bounce, without distracting one another, and also while remaining on task. This means we can create a more student-centered, and successful learning environment through the use of flexible seating. Please help me give my students the chance to become even more engaged, focused, successful and excited learners by getting seating that is appropriate for their needs.
