Education changes every day and with that change comes the introduction of new technology and tools. Every student learn differently so these tools will also give my students the option to satisfy all learning styles with a focus on hands on activities to further encourage understanding. The goal is for majority if not all students to be reading on or close to grade level so that they are not just being passed to the next grade without a clear understanding of the previous material. The arts and crafts materials such as paper, crayons, and markers will be used to allow students the room for creativity within my classroom. The place value tools will give a visual and hands on lesson to help my students fully understand how place value is related to money and world solutions. These donations will help my students see themselves as thinkers, and creators.
