With 20+ kids in an enclosed classroom space, it is inevitable (even with preventative measures in place) that germs may spread. When many people think of an elementary classroom, some may envision children packed shoulder to shoulder on a carpet or sitting inches apart in a table group. However, flexible seating options help provide personalized opportunities for all. Please help our kids optimize their learning experience this year with flexible seating options designed to allow them to learn and work in their own safe space. With this project, my kids will be given opportunities to choose how they learn, where they learn, and not be limited to a desk. Students can grab a clipboard to work in all areas of the classroom. Flexible seating (special cushions and floor desks) better support students who have tendencies to fidget or have trouble focusing.
