Listening and reading along to a text is an important tool to help my students succeed. My students are in dire need of a good set of headphones to use while they are in the classroom. Many of my students are not reading at a fifth grade level, having a good pair of headphones will help to gain the confidence that they need in order to read aloud in class and accomplish their reading goals. My students will use the headphones while on technology in the classroom. My students have a hard time focusing on their assignments due to the many distractions within the classroom. Therefore, good quality headphones are very important because they help students focus better and block out any background noise. It is hard to find a good quality headphone that will last long in little hands. But, these headphones will help to improve our classroom environment as well as my students reading skills, by helping to improve their focus on the task at hand. Readers are leaders!
