Flexible seating allows students to select their own comfortable learning space while being focused and productive. Wobble chairs and balance ball seats will allow students to move, choose a comfortable zone to work in, transport their seats for small group and team interactions, and assist with social skills by learning how to share space. Having the ability to wobble, stand, bounce, and move allows students to be less distracted and disruptive; in turn, focused and productive. When students have ownership in the learning environment, they tend to be more productive, happy, and invested. Student-friendly, comfortable, innovating, that's what I'm striving to achieve in my classroom and in my students!
