These funds will be spent on a monthly class set of the Scholastic Scope Magazine that is filled with multi-genre stories, poems and plays that my students truly get excited about EVERY month! These magazines have amazing stories that are relevant, engaging, and provoke curiosity. They include rigorous standards aligned with Common Core, TEKS, and other standards. Scope Magazines have extensive DIGITAL resources for grades 6-8 with tools that differentiate for each student using videos, audio articles, vocabulary slideshows, articles at two Lexile levels, scaffolded activities and more! The activities and assessments reinforce reading skills critical to analyze, write, and take tests! My students can't wait until the next month's issue arrives!!!
