I am a new special education English language arts teacher at my school, and I am especially concerned when it comes to making sure my students have reading resources and materials they need to be successful. Reading affects every other academic subject. Because my students have difficulty reading, they also struggle in other academic subjects. It is very important for them to have easy access to reading materials that are age appropriate, interesting, and engaging in order to encourage their love of reading so they will become more successful in their educational experiences.

About my class
