Some students struggle in traditional desks making it difficult to get the creative juices flowing. Flexible seating allows students the opportunity to pick the spot in the room where they learn best. After being taught the whole group lesson students will have the option of doing independent work in a flexible seating location around the classroom. With the Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seats, a Big Beanbag Seat, and Kore Kids Wobble Chairs students can move to anywhere in the classroom with a clipboard to work on their independent activities for the day. This will allow them the choice of where to work and hopefully produce more imaginative writing. When students are more comfortable they are willing to try more things including writing which most students find difficult. Just like adults find that they prefer different locations to do their best work students should have the options to find their best spot to work. The Comfy Chairs will provide my students with another type of seating to add to the choices we already have: balance balls, carpet squares, crate seats, standing desks, and traditional chairs.
