My students are very active and many have trouble sitting and focusing at the typical desk. No child should miss out on learning just because they have trouble sitting at a desk. I implemented some flexible seating in my classroom last year and found it to be quite beneficial to many of my children. I am asking for floor desks and stools to extend their seating options. This will allow my students to sit and work in a place and way that meets their physical and emotional needs. This will make our learning environment more inviting and comfortable, encouraging my students to do their personal best.
