My hope with having these materials in my classroom is that students will connect with Art on new levels. By having reading materials accessible to them that are relatable to them and to Art. I hope each book will help foster creativity and inspiration for each student who gets the chance to read one of the many books I picked out! I purposely pulled books that relate to historical art periods, art styles that the students might like, and interesting subject matter like the book "Shouting in the dark". This book is about a blind artist who finds his voice in art.
