I will spend funds on classroom supplies and materials for learning. The purpose of this project is to transform my classroom into an exciting destination to learn for my high school students. In addition, these supplies requested will allow the classroom to operate smoothly. The items I am asking for are mostly school supplies and supplies to keep our classroom running. I am asking for pencils, markers, colored pencils, binders, cleaning wipes, etc. These items will help to get our classroom set up with essentials as well as provide school supplies to students whose families cannot afford them. These tools will provide students with an opportunity to explore their education through color and organization. The rest of the supplies will be used to keep our classroom and students clean and healthy by sanitizing our hands and classroom environment. My goal as an educator is to improve the learning environment for my students. Examples of ensuring an engaging area are that I will be using journals and coloring books for "finished early" activities. This will help students be able to focus on exploration and creativity. Your donation will go a long way in ensuring that I achieve my goal of providing a safe and engaging environment for the youth of my hometown in Alaska.
