These forensic science kits will help the students see how the police when confronted with skeletal remains at a crime scene can visualize the differences between female and male skulls. I have several laboratory experiments where the students have to tell whether the skeletal remains are human or animal. From this information they will be able to tell the differences between male and female. This kit will go nicely with the body fluid lab from Carolina. That lab has a section that has the karyotypes of female and male remains found at a crime scene. I believe that having these skeletal kits will enhance their skills in forensic anthropology and see what it is like to find skeletal remains at a crime scene. The skeletons will also be used for the end of the year crime scene project. I am sure the anatomy teacher will be interested in using this set too. I would in the future like to have the set from the website bonecollector for my collection.
