Children learn through hands on experiences. I want to create a learning environment that supports them in the best way possible. I have been teaching Pre-k for 20 years and have recently taken over a new classroom and am focused on filling it with materials that will engage the children and create a love of learning. Each day the children will be using materials to help navigate the world they live in. One day the challenge will be to build a bridge. Another day the challenge will be to build something using straight and curved lines. Another day we will experiment with things that will sink or float. One day we will build ramps to discover forces and motion and another we will build an animal habitat.
