This classroom easel will have a central place in the classroom as well as a central role in my students learning. A teaching easel has so many different uses and is excellent for hands-on learning. I will be a first year 3rd grade ELA teacher this August and would love to be able to have my students at the carpet for lessons using an easel that is big enough for the whole class to see. For writing, student would help me edit, revise, and come up with ideas using the lined part of the easel. For reading, my student and I would dive into a text and then create anchor charts together on the easel board. The amount of things that could be used for lessons on the easel board are endless. I love the wheels on this anchor chart because it would allow me to move it from group to group when I do my strategy groups.
