In this kindergarten classroom, children will have the opportunity to learn through exploration and imagination. They will use the light table and manipulative kit for more than just math and science lessons. These young scholars will have the unique opportunity to create and experiment with light and special tools. This light table can be used across the curriculum through language arts: story retelling, tracing letters, sequencing... math: counting, number sense, geometry... science: exploration, scientific method, light/dark... social studies: working with others in social centers. A light table in our kindergarten classroom will spark excitement and learning in these young students!
