Students will learn about renewable and non-renewable energy in conjunction with natural and artificial light. Students will learn about lamp technology as a means of energy and how it relates to energy saving and human consumption while exploring various types of lamps (light bulbs) and how they generate light from a scientific and engineering approach as well as an artist and aesthetic point of view. The items we acquire will ensure that my students will have hands on experience and the opportunity to interact and explore lamp technology and it's future both artistically and through an engineering approach. This technology will also give my students the opportunity to combine art and music with current technology.
