Students in Hillsborough, NC are working hard on learning how to challenge themselves when they read. Unfortunately, we do not have a lot of current and up-to-date titles. Many of our titles have too few books for a book club group. Once we do get students into groups, the books are in such sad shape. Students are thrilled when they see new titles and fresh books, but this rarely happens. A lot of our books are 10+ years old and are falling apart and have pages missing. This takes away from the ambiance of reading in a comfortable location. Our students would thrive with new titles and would feel proud to tackle new challenges in reading new books!
