My students learn in various ways. As I strive to make the most out of reading for students, providing them with the best reading material possible to meet their needs is my goal! My library is a place where my students can go and enjoy reading in an nonstressful environment, encouraging them to read independently. However, having small groups is a way to provide them with extra reading guidance, giving them a chance to read to me and others in a smaller group setting. My students all love to read and have different reading styles! With this Guided Reading kit, my students will benefit from instructional guidance that involves working with a small group of children who demonstrate similar reading behaviors. It is my hopes to provide reading materials with an approach in mind that encourages my students to read on their levels but also push them higher!
