During our classroom’s reading period, my students will engage in a variety of activities in which they will have the responsibility to fulfill assignments, expectations, and obligations. With proven responsibility comes my trust in their OWN decision making. My goal as their teacher is to allow students the opportunity to choose where to grow and learn by offering them a comfortable atmosphere in which they can utilize. By adding these differentiated seating options to our classroom, I believe my students will feel comfortable and at home within our class. I think having a choice is an essential key for students to reach their full potential to grow academically, socially, and mentally.
