I am attempting, with the help of my teaching partner, to be very progressive and start implementing learning progressions, flow, individualized learning and many other things. With what I am beginning to implement into the structure of my class it makes things much more dynamic. The students are much more mobile instead of sitting in rows for an entire block while I talk at them. Some activities are required to collaborate with others while other activities they are expected to complete independently. One of the main goals is to have the students taking ownership of their learning. With this comes a bunch of supplies that are needed to help create a learning environment in which my kids can be successful and cultivate a passion for learning.
