I am passionate about teaching writing, and there is a lot to be done when completing assignments in both English and Spanish. With an anchor chart stand, I would be able to display current and past anchor charts which would help students immensely to observe mentor writing examples with rubrics. Additionally, this stand would be extremely useful to display current spelling words lists for both Spanish and English and would allow for a display of cognates for reference. I always teach students to use their references; with little wall space around the classroom, this chart display would provide students with important content in plain view. Dry erase boards would allow students to brainstorm ideas for writing and work on spelling practice. Having these boards would allow students to actively participate while on the carpet. With two grade levels of students at varying writing levels with many different needs and styles of learning, privacy screens would give all learners the opportunity to focus without distractions in order to create their best pieces possible. I am eager to start the year strong with materials that help my learners become amazing writers in both languages. Thanks for considering us! ¡Muchas gracias!
