Having hands on materials is critical for children to do their best learning, especially in a Pre-K classroom. These materials are materials that can be used for more than just math centers. These materials can help students with not only their math skills but their interpersonal skills as well. Being able to learn how to share, talk to one another, and how to understand each other's feelings is critical at this stage of their life. Math manipulatives can help with these skills in tremendous ways. Students need the opportunity to learn through play and manipulatives. These games and manipulatives can help our students to learn patterns, counting, and much more.
