Varied seating lets students choose options that will support their learning style and give them a comfortable place to help them focus. The couch will give my students an area away from their desks, where they read or collaborate with each other. I would like to give my class an area that they can go to relax, read or work with groups on projects. It will be placed in our classroom library area where early finishers can go, and be used during intervention for group collaboration. It would give students an opportunity to escape from sitting at a desk all day and have a space that makes them feel comfortable.
