It is important to create a classroom environment that meets the needs of a diverse student population and a variety of learning styles. Flexible seating allows students that may have focusing difficulties the ability to choose seating that fits their needs. This also provides a feeling of control for those who suffer from anxiety in the classroom environment. Students who struggle with managing anger feel empowered when given choices. All students, feel ownership for their behaviors when they are given choices which creates focused and eager learners in a successful learning experience. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them to enhance focus.

About my class
