The use of my binders is a daily activity in my classroom, especially during writing. Students come to the writing table for guided practice and to record modeled strategies. The binder allows me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. Students will collect their writing papers on a daily basis. This will make them independent and proud of their work. During centers students draw and label their creation with expo markers. Whether it's a tower in dramatic play or a cake in the kitchen area. Teacher is always encouraging students to label the picture. We also use the expo markers to have students sign in as they walk into the classroom.
