These team building tables will help motivate my students to work effectively and cooperatively without distractions all year long. When students share one common table as opposed to individual desks, this helps them bridge any physical or emotional gap and allows them to have a tangible team venue and a sense of cooperation. Students move from thinking “my space “ to “our space” which is key in team building. I want students in my classroom to know that we are in this language acquisition goal together! In addition, these rectangular shape tables would allow us to move through the classroom in more creative ways while maximizing our physical space, which is already small.
