My classroom is missing a setting where I can conduct focused small group work for guided reading and guided math. This will allow me to meet the needs of my students in a comfortable and adaptable way. I can pull small groups of struggling students and keep their attention with flexible seating options that encourage them to participate and be engaged in the lessons. This setting is what has been missing from my instruction and will significantly improve cooperation in the classroom. The students previously resisted because they didn’t want to sit on the floor, this will solve that problem and reengage the kids.
