In Kindergarten I teach all of my kids how to read. We read about animals, letters, stories, sports, and so much more. We also have conversations about the members of our class and about the different abilities that we have. What better way to learn about our friends abilities than to read stories? Books are magical and they can teach us so many incredible things. When kids read stories about children with autism, ADHD, two Mommies, etc, they feel more connected to the children in our class who have those same characteristics. It is amazing! Please consider helping us receive all of these incredible books to help my students every year learn about the amazing abilities we all have.
