The materials I am requesting for my classroom would help me provide my students with the resources they need to begin their love of learning. The books found within the different library sets-- from "The Kissing Hand" to "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" will inspire my students to continue diving into literature and get lost in a world that is truly their own. Most of my students do not have exposure to reading materials outside of school, and that is why it is so important to me to provide this for them. By providing access to literacy and art resources in my Kindergarten classroom, we will provide a solid foundation for my students' success in academics and social development. By using the Crayola tempera paint, my students will be able to tap into their creativity and feel more in control of their projects. This will help improve their self esteem, and make them feel more confident in their academic abilities.
