My scholars are at school longer than they are at home. Having kindles in my kindergarten classroom will give scholars a different way to learn. Throughout our VERY busy and rigorous day my kinders are constantly learning and growing their brains! The kindles will be used daily to create a different type of learning and give them something to get excited about! "To master a new technology, you have to play with it" Scholars will be able to have so many different ways of learning right at their finger tips! Scholars will use this during daily five centers, math centers, and it will help ESL students with new words. Many of my scholars have NEVER been to school they will be able to learn letters/ sounds and sight words in which they will need to be successful readers and learners. Many scholars in my class come in not sure how to manage their emotions and have lack of regulation and self control due to many difficulties they have at home. I plan on using apps for calming and mediation as well as learning education skills. This is something that will help scholars in life.
